Rosalie's Spaghetti Sauce Adapted For The Crock-pot By Dolores (

Total Time: 8 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 tablespoons salad oil
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef (precooked)
  • 4 teaspoons dried onion flakes
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients and mix well.
  • 2 cook on low 8 hours or on high for 3 hours, then low for 3 hours.
  • 3 serve over hot spaghetti.
  • 4 to freeze: let cool and package in zipper bags or freezer containers.
