Rose Chicken & Mushrooms - Slow Cooker

Total Time: 8 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 chicken breasts, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups whole small fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (20 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 4 -5 sprigs fresh thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 (900 g) bag broad egg noodles

Recipe

  • 1 in a hot skillet heat oil, add chicken and brown.
  • 2 add to slow cooker.
  • 3 add everything else to the slow cooker and mix well (except egg noodles). cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours.
  • 4 serve over cooked egg noodles.
  • 5 remember to remove the sticks from the thyme.
  • 6 garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
