Sesame Roasted Asparagus

Total Time: 17 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs fresh asparagus, rinsed dried and trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt or 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Recipe

  • 1 line a 10x15 inch baking pan with foil or parchment paper.
  • 2 arrange asparagus in a single layer on prepared pan. drizzle with oil. sprinkle with salt, pepper, sesame seeds and garlic. toss to combine.
  • 3 bake, uncovered, at 400 for 10-12 minutes or until crisp-tender, turning over (with spatula) once.
