Sesame Seed Potato Puffs

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs potatoes, boiled
  • 3/4-1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 cup crushed corn flakes
  • 3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Recipe

  • 1 peel potatoes.
  • 2 boil until soft; drain and mash.
  • 3 heat milk, butter, salt and sugar together.
  • 4 gradually whip in until potatoes are smooth and fluffy.
  • 5 add cheese and egg yolks and chill.
  • 6 form into balls.
  • 7 roll in mixture of cornflakes and sesame seeds.
  • 8 can serve, or freeze and package.
  • 9 to serve:.
  • 10 place frozen puffs on baking sheet.
  • 11 brush lightly with melted butter.
  • 12 bake in hot oven at 4008 for 20 minutes for small puffs, 30 minutes for medium puffs.
