Shrimp Toast

Ingredients

- 1/2 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 4 water chestnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 6 slices bread, thinly sliced
- oil (for frying)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
Recipe
- 1 mince shrimp.
- 2 add water chestnuts, salt, sugar, 1 tbls.
- 3 cornstarch and 1 egg.
- 4 beat egg and blend in 1 tbls.
- 5 cornstarch.
- 6 remove crusts from bread and cut into 4 triangles.
- 7 brush one side of bread with egg mixture and then shrimp past.
- 8 fry shrimp side down in 375degree f.
- 9 oil until golden.
- 10 carefully turn and brown bread side.
- 11 drain.
- 12 serve hot.
