Sesame Salt

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 50 g sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Recipe

  • 1 toast seeds in a fry pan over low heat.
  • 2 shake pan occasionally till they turn golden brown.
  • 3 transfer to a mortar, add salt.
  • 4 use pestle to grind mixture, releasing sesame oil into salt.
  • 5 sprinkle on rice, vegetables, fish or salad.
