Rose Flower Hot White Chocolate

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 ounces white chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 3/8 teaspoon rose flower water
  • rose petal (organically grown, no pesticides)

Recipe

  • 1 finely chop white chocolate and place it in the top of a double boiler set over a pan of simmering water.
  • 2 when the white chocolate is almost melted, remove it form the heat and set aside.
  • 3 ina 2-quart nonstick saucepan, heat the milk and cream over med-low heat until steaming but not boiling; add in the melted chocolate and whisk to combine.
  • 4 cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture is foamy and almost boiling, about 3 minutes.
  • 5 whisk in the rose flower water; pour into teacups; sprinkle each serving with a few rose petals and serve immediately.
