Sesame Salmon Boats

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 (7 3/4 ounce) can red salmon (i use bumble bee red salmon)
  • 1 avocado
  • crisp salad green
  • lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise, your choice for the amount of fat content
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
  • lemon slice
  • parsley, fresh, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 drain salmon.
  • 2 remove skin and bones, if desired; chill.
  • 3 halve the avocado; remove seed.
  • 4 place each half on a salad plate lined with crisp salad greens.
  • 5 sprinkle avocado with lemon juice.
  • 6 combine mayonnaise, dill, garlic salt and 1 tsp sesame seeds.
  • 7 fold in salmon; adjust lemon juice to taste.
  • 8 spoon mixture into avocado halves.
  • 9 sprinkle with remaining sesame seeds.
  • 10 garnish with lemon slice and parsley.
