Sesame Macaroons

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Recipe

  • 1 pulverize sesame seeds in blender or with mortar and pestle.
  • 2 add cream of tartar to egg whites; beat until stiff.
  • 3 gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition.
  • 4 fold in sesame seeds and almond extract.
  • 5 drop by teaspoonfuls lightly greased baking sheet.
  • 6 bake at 250 for 30 minutes.
