Sesame Soy Broccoli

- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 4 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
Recipe
- 1 place the broccoli in a steamer basket; place in a saucepan over about 1 inch of water. bring to a boil; cover and steam for 5-7 minutes. broccoli should be crisp tender.
- 2 while broccoli is cooking, combine sugar, oil, soy sauce and vinegar in a small saucepan over medium heat. cook, stirring continuously until sugar is dissolved.
- 3 place broccoli to a serving bowl. drizzle the sauce over the broccoli and then sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds.
