Sesame-grilled Snow Peas

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce (i always use lite)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
- 1 lb snow peas
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
Recipe
- 1 whisk together first 6 ingredients in a small bowl until blended.
- 2 place snow peas in a foil packet.
- 3 pour rice vinegar mixture over snow peas; seal packet.
- 4 grill over medium heat 7 to 10 minutes or until tender.
- 5 sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
- 6 serve immediately.
- 7 note: to quickly and easily toast sesame seeds, spread seeds in a single layer on a cookie sheet or jellyroll pan; place on grill or in a preheated 350 degree oven.
- 8 stir once or twice while watching closely so they don't overbrown.
