Sesame Prawn Toasts

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 175 g shelled prawns
  • 125 g haddock fillets, skinned
  • 2 eggs
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 4 slices bread, crusts removed,toasted
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • oil, to deep fry
  • 1 tablespoon watercress leaf, to garnish

Recipe

  • 1 put the prawns, haddock, one egg, salt and pepper to taste in the processor bowl.
  • 2 fit the metal chopping blade and process until smooth.
  • 3 spread evenly over the toast.
  • 4 beat the other egg in a bowl.
  • 5 brush it over the fish mixture.
  • 6 press it down the sesame seeds until evenly coated.
  • 7 deep fry each slice separately in hot oil for 2 minutes.
  • 8 drain excess oil on a clean paper napkin.
  • 9 cut into 8-12 fingers.
  • 10 serve warm, garnished with watercress.
  • 11 enjoy!
