Sesame Chicken Wings

Total Time: 3 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 35 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken wings, rinsed and cut at the joint
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 3/4 cups honey
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • toasted sesame seeds, for topping

Recipe

  • 1 rinse wings, and cut at the joint.
  • 2 sprinkle with salt, and pepper, and place on a broiler pan.
  • 3 broil 5 inches from the top, 10 minutes on each side, place wings in slow cooker.
  • 4 mix`remaining ingredients, except sesame seeds, and pour over chicken.
  • 5 cover, cook on low for 5 hours, or on high for 2 1/2 hours.
  • 6 sprinkle sesame seeds over top just before serving.
