Pastor's Wife's Peach Pie

Ingredients
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 -5 free stone peaches
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 450°f.
- 2 peel the peaches and cut in halves. separate the fruit from the pit.
- 3 arrange the peach halves face down in the pie crust.
- 4 mix the flour and sugar together. then add the half and half, egg, and vanilla. mix well.
- 5 pour the custard mix over the peaches.
- 6 bake at 450°f for 10 minutes. lower heat to 350°f for 50 minutes or until the custard is set.
- 7 remove from the oven and cool on a rack.
