Pastor's Wife's Peach Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 -5 free stone peaches
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 450°f.
  • 2 peel the peaches and cut in halves. separate the fruit from the pit.
  • 3 arrange the peach halves face down in the pie crust.
  • 4 mix the flour and sugar together. then add the half and half, egg, and vanilla. mix well.
  • 5 pour the custard mix over the peaches.
  • 6 bake at 450°f for 10 minutes. lower heat to 350°f for 50 minutes or until the custard is set.
  • 7 remove from the oven and cool on a rack.
