Rock Candy

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

• 1 cup water
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 drops food coloring (or more if you like)

Recipe

• 1 steralize jar by boiling in water for a few minutes.
• 2 moisten one end of wooden stick then roll in sugar(this helps the crystals to form on it).
• 3 heat 1 cup water to boiling.
• 4 dissolve 2 cups sugar in water.
• 5 add food coloring.
• 6 pour mixture into jar and cover with styrofoam plate.
• 7 poke wooden stick(sugar coated end down) into mixture.
• 8 do not disturb for 2-3 days or until crystals form.
