Maple Parsnips

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 cups parsnips (or both mixed) or 3 cups carrots (or both mixed)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Recipe

  • 1 peel and slice parsnips.
  • 2 steam about 8 minutes or just till tender.
  • 3 drain and return to pan without steamer rack.
  • 4 stir in syrup and coat well.
  • 5 garnish with chives if desired.
