Sesame Plum Chicken

Ingredients

- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 -6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup apricot preserves
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 cup red plum preserves
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
Recipe
- 1 combine flour and cornstarch, eggs and salt together.in shallow pan.
- 2 dip chicken breasts in egg mixture, coat with bread crumbs.sprinkle with sesame seeds and set aside.
- 3 heat butter and oil in heavy skillet or wok.
- 4 place chicken in this mixture and bake at 350* for 20-40 minutes or till juices run clear -- when pierced with a fork --
- 5 remove to plate, spoon plum sauce over top.
- 6 to prepare plum sauce:.
- 7 stir ingredients together in heavy pan, simmer till heated through, serve warm.
