Sage Biscuits

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup oil or 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup minced fresh sage (or 1 t. dried powdered sage)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 475 degrees.
- 2 sift flour, baking powder and salt into bowl.
- 3 in another bowl, combine oil or butter, egg, milk and sage.
- 4 make a little "well" in the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients.
- 5 combine with fork until just mixed.
- 6 drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet or roll and cut into circles.
- 7 bake 8-12 minutes until golden.
