Sage Cornmeal Sticks

Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons liquid honey
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 refrigerate ungreased baking sheets until chilled.
- 2 in large bowl, beat butter with honey until fluffy; beat in eggs and milk.
- 3 in separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, sage, baking powder, and salt.
- 4 stir into butter mixture until smooth.
- 5 using piping bag fitted with large star tip, pipe mixture into 3 inch long logs, about 1/2 inch apart, on prepared pans.
- 6 bake in 350f oven until slightly darker on bottoms, about 15 minutes.
- 7 reduce temperature to 300f; bake until crisp, about 15 minutes.
- 8 transfer to racks; let cool.
