Sag Station Tossed Salad (from Young Chefs Academy)

Ingredients

- 9 cups lettuce (i used a blend of mixed salad greens)
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges
- 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onion
- 2 teaspoons unsalted sunflower seeds
- 6 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 teaspoons minced shallots
- 4 teaspoons white , vingar
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon orange zest
Recipe
- 1 1. in a large salad bowl, gently toss the greens, mandarin oranges, green onions, and the sunflower seeds.
- 2 2. combine the dressing ingredients in a bowl and stir with a whisk.
- 3 3. pour over salad, toss, and serve.
