Sag Station Tossed Salad (from Young Chefs Academy)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 9 cups lettuce (i used a blend of mixed salad greens)
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 2 teaspoons unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 6 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 teaspoons minced shallots
  • 4 teaspoons white , vingar
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon orange zest

Recipe

  • 1 1. in a large salad bowl, gently toss the greens, mandarin oranges, green onions, and the sunflower seeds.
  • 2 2. combine the dressing ingredients in a bowl and stir with a whisk.
  • 3 3. pour over salad, toss, and serve.
