Sesame Rice With Scallions

Ingredients
- Servings: 2
- 1 1/2 cups sushi rice or 1 1/2 cups arborio rice, cooked in vegetable stock
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 in small saute pan, heat the oil over medium heat.
- 2 add sesame seeds and toast until golden. don't walk away, or they will burn.
- 3 add the scallions, the sugar and salt.
- 4 stir.
- 5 combine with the cooked rice.
- 6 at this point you could add any little servings of leftovers you might have in your fridge.
- 7 i added some diced chicken tenders and green beans.
