Sesame Lamb Balls

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lean lamb
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumb
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup green onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 24 (4 inch) bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 10 minutes

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 9 ingredients in medium bowl until well mixed.
  • 2 shape into 24 balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • 3 roll balls in sesame seeds.
  • 4 preheat lightly greased electric grill/skillet for 5 minutes.
  • 5 push 1 ball each skewer.
  • 6 cook for 10 to 15 minutes, turning often, until no longer pink inside.
