Mulled Wine

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle red wine
  • mulling spices, in bag

Recipe

  • 1 combine water and sugar in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat. stir till sugar dissolves.
  • 2 add wine and spice bag.
  • 3 heat very slowly over low heat only till small bubbles form around the edge and wine is very hot. do not boil.
  • 4 discard bag; serve.
