Kulfi

Total Time: 2 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 2 hrs Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup pistachios or 1/3 cup almonds, crushed
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

Recipe

  • 1 in a sauce pan boil milk.
  • 2 slowly pour condensed milk and keep string.
  • 3 stir and cook on medium heat until milk thickened.
  • 4 now add sugar, almonds, pistachio, nutmeg powder and cardamom powder.
  • 5 cook again for 15-20 minute again.
  • 6 take it off the heat and put aside for 15 minutes.
  • 7 pour the mixture into the ice cream mold or in a stainless steel bowl to make kulfa ice cream.
  • 8 put ice cream filled molds in the freezer.
  • 9 after 45 minutes open up ice cream molds and stir well so that no icicles remain there.
  • 10 freeze again till hard.
