Iowa Fried Frog's Legs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 2 lbs frog's legs
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder

Recipe

  • 1 mix the cornmeal, egg, salt, cayenne and pepper together with enough water to form a batter.
  • 2 place the oil in an iron skillet and dip the frog legs into the batter and cook for about 5-8 minutes until they are brown on all sides.
