Hot Cherry Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 410 g pitted black cherries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange rind, finely shredded
  • 3 teaspoons cornflour
  • 1/2 cup orange, hjice
  • 2 tablespoons vodka

Recipe

  • 1 combine undrained cherries, sugar and rind in small pot.
  • 2 stir over medium heat till mixture boils.
  • 3 blend cornflour with juice.
  • 4 stir into cherry mixture.
  • 5 stir over medium heat till sauce boils and thickens.
  • 6 remove from heat, stir in vodka.
  • 7 enjoy with ice cream.
