Mother Kossmans Buns

Total Time: 4 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 4 hrs Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 15
  • 1/2 cup lard
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 7 1/2 cups flour

Recipe

  • 1 add lard, sugar and salt to boiling water.
  • 2 let cool.
  • 3 dissolve yeast in warm water.
  • 4 add to sugar mixture.
  • 5 make a well and stir water mixture into flour.
  • 6 knead.
  • 7 make into balls and let rise 3 hours in warm place.
  • 8 nake in moderate oven
  • 9 i'm guessing 20 minutes or until browned.
