Maple Creme Brulee For Two

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1/4 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 teaspoon maple flavoring
  • 2 teaspoons raw sugar

Recipe

  • 1 use a 2 cup measure to measure and combine all ingredients except sugar in the order listed.
  • 2 pour mixture into two ramekins or custard cups.
  • 3 place ramekins into loaf pan.
  • 4 pour very hot water into the loaf pan, about halfway up the ramekins.
  • 5 place loaf pan in preheated 300 degree oven.
  • 6 bake for 45-55 minutes until mostly set.
  • 7 cool and chill thoroughly.
  • 8 sprinkle each ramekin with 1 tsp raw (or regular) granulated sugar.
  • 9 brulee with a kitchen torch until brown and melty on top.
  • 10 enjoy immediately!
