Kumquat Glass (or Calamondin)

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 kumquats, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup simple syrup (or a little more)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 175°f
  • 2 dip the kumquat slices in the simple syrup and transfer to a silpat-lined baking sheet.
  • 3 bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until the kumquat slices are dry but glossy.
  • 4 flip and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • 5 remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  • 6 store in a tightly covered container at room temperature.
