Cherry Nut Cake I

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

preparation time: 5 mins cook time: 45 mins ready time: 50 mins
- place flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, oil, eggs, cherry pie filling, and chopped nuts in a 9x13 inch pan and mix thoroughly with a fork.
- bake in a preheated 350 degrees f (175 degrees c) oven for 45 minutes. serve with whipped topping.
