Sesame Butterfly Lamb Chops

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 (1/4 lb) boneless center cut lamb chop, butterflied, about 1 lb
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, powdered
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry wine
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, fresh and sliced
  • 2 green onions, with tops, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Recipe

  • 1 heat sesame oil in large nonstick pan over medium.
  • 2 add chops and sprinkle with sesame seed and ginger.
  • 3 cook until browned on both sides.
  • 4 add soy sauce and wine to skillet, then add mushrooms and onions.
  • 5 stir gently 1 to 2 minutes to saute vegetables.
  • 6 remove chops to serving platter.
  • 7 add butter to pan, stirring constantly to deglaze pan.
  • 8 pour mushroom-onion sauce over chops.
