Ingredients
- 3 cups chopped plums
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
Recipe
- 1 combine plums, sugar, water and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
- 2 bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to medium and boil rapidly until mixture will form a gel, about 20 minutes.
- 3 remove from heat and stir in amaretto.
- 4 ladle into hot jars and process in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
