Plum Amaretto Jam

Ingredients

• 3 cups chopped plums
• 3 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 3 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur

Recipe

• 1 combine plums, sugar, water and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
• 2 bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to medium and boil rapidly until mixture will form a gel, about 20 minutes.
• 3 remove from heat and stir in amaretto.
• 4 ladle into hot jars and process in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
