Kahlua Cream Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup kahlua
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Recipe

  • 1 in a cup or small bowl combine water and cornstarch stirring until dissolved.
  • 2 set cornstarch mixture aside.
  • 3 in heavy saucepan stir together heavy cream, sugar and kahlua.
  • 4 cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
  • 5 lower heat and simmer for 1 minute.
  • 6 add cornstarch mixture and simmer over low heat for 4 minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • 7 remove from heat and whisk for 1 minute.
