Kahlua Cream Sauce

Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup kahlua
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Recipe
- 1 in a cup or small bowl combine water and cornstarch stirring until dissolved.
- 2 set cornstarch mixture aside.
- 3 in heavy saucepan stir together heavy cream, sugar and kahlua.
- 4 cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
- 5 lower heat and simmer for 1 minute.
- 6 add cornstarch mixture and simmer over low heat for 4 minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.
- 7 remove from heat and whisk for 1 minute.
