Ingredients

- 1/4 cup strawberry preserves
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 3 frozen peeled bananas
- 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
- 1 cup orange juice (or pineapple juice)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon honey

Recipe
- 1 in a blender, blend the strawberry preserves and berries until smooth and creamy. transfer to a small bowl and chill until needed. note: this can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
- 2 in a clean blender combine the bananas and remaining smoothie ingredients until smooth.
- 3 to serve use a 10 oz wine goblet, fill with 1/4 cup strawberry puree and pour banana mixture over to fill glass. this creates a 'sunrise' in your glass. garnish with a fresh berry and orange slice.
