Granny's Fruit Loaf

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 3/4 pint cold brewed tea
  • 12 ounces sugar
  • 4 ounces apricots, chopped
  • 1 1/4 lbs dried fruit
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups self-raising flour (heaped cups)

Recipe

  • 1 soak the apricots, sugar and dried fruit overnight in the cold tea.
  • 2 stir in morning.
  • 3 add egg and flour.
  • 4 bake 1 1/4 hours at 350°f.
