Hot Water Pie Crust

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces margarine
  • 4 ounces water
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg yolk

Recipe

  • 1 heat margarine and water till margarine melts; quickly bring to a boil.
  • 2 place flour salt and egg yolk in a food processor. start food processor and pour hot liquid in through the chute. mix till a dough forms using knife blade.
  • 3 place dough on a floured board or cloth and knead till smooth.
  • 4 place in plastic bag and let rest 30 minutes.
  • 5 use as needed.
