- 1 ounce fresh lotus root
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil
- 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon mirin
- 1 teaspoon sake
- 1 tablespoon water
Recipe
- 1 peel the lotus root and cut in half lengthwise. slice into thin half rounds.
- 2 soak in cold water. drain well.
- 3 sauté the lotus root in the oil. add the other ingredients and cook for 2-3 minutes.
