Ruth's Meatloaf

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup corn flakes, slightly crushed
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 7 ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • 2 mix sauce ingredients together in a separate bowl.
  • 3 mix 1/2 sauce mixture into meatloaf ingredients. bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. top with remaining sauce and continue baking 20 minutes longer or until done - 160 degrees.
