Layered Strawberry Squares

Ingredients

- 2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
- 1 (8 ounce) container bib-dairy whipped topping, thawed
- 18 graham crackers
Recipe
- 1 dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- 2 add cold water and chill until slightly thickened.
- 3 meanwhile, slice strawberries, reserving a few for garnish and sprinkle with sugar.
- 4 fold whipped topping into gelatin, blending well.
- 5 fold in strawberries.
- 6 place 9 graham crackers in bottom of 9-inch square pan.
- 7 spread half the gelatin mixture over crackers.
- 8 repeat layers.
- 9 chill until firm, approximately 3 hours.
- 10 cut into squares.
- 11 garnish with reserved strawberries.
