Roasted Tomato Salsa

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe but still firm tomatoes
  • 3 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 medium red onion, quartered
  • 3 cloves garlic, unpeeled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, more to taste
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 put vegetables on a sheet pan in a 500-degree oven, or on a charcoal or gas grill over medium heat.
