Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 8 ripe peaches
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Recipe
- 1 peel, slice and arrange peaches in a 6-cup baking dish (preferably an oval gratin dish), sprinkling with lemon juice as you go.
- 2 whip cream; spread all over peaches.
- 3 sprinkle with brown sugar by putting it through fine sieve.
- 4 cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- 5 just before serving, broil about 4" below heat for about 2 minutes or until crispy golden on top.
