Miko's Lotus Root

Ingredients
- 150 g fresh lotus root
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Recipe
- 1 cut lotus root into thin slices.
- 2 saute in frying pan with olive oil for a few minutes. be careful not to sauté too long, as lotus root tastes best when still a little crunchy.
- 3 mix in sugar and soy sauce and continue to cook until well incorporated.
- 4 remove from heat and add sesame oil.
