Miko's Lotus Root

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 150 g fresh lotus root
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Recipe

  • 1 cut lotus root into thin slices.
  • 2 saute in frying pan with olive oil for a few minutes. be careful not to sauté too long, as lotus root tastes best when still a little crunchy.
  • 3 mix in sugar and soy sauce and continue to cook until well incorporated.
  • 4 remove from heat and add sesame oil.
