- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed french onion soup
- 1 (4 ounce) can canned mushrooms, drained
- 2 cups water

- melt margarine in a saucepan over medium heat. stir in rice and cook just until lightly browned. mix in soup, mushrooms and water. bring to a boil. reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 25 minutes.
