Roasted Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

- 2 large tomatoes
- 1/2 yellow onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup heavy cream
- salt, to taste
Recipe
- 1 heat broiler to high.
- 2 roast tomatoes, onion and garlic until dark but do not burn, these need to be turned often.
- 3 let cool.
- 4 peel tomatoes and reserve any juices.
- 5 place tomatoes, onions and garlic in a blender and process until pureed.
- 6 place puree in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- 7 cook for 2 minutes.
- 8 season with salt to taste.
