- 2 large baking potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 large turnip, peeled and cut into chunks
- 3 carrots, peeled and diced
- 1 ounce unsalted butter
Recipe
- 1 place the potatoes, turnip and carrots in a large pan of salted water.
- 2 bring to a boil and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until tender.
- 3 drain and mash with a potato masher.
- 4 add the butter and salt and pepper to taste.
