Ingredients

- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 cup custard powder
- vanilla essence (a splash)
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Recipe
- 1 beat eggs until creamy.
- 2 add sugar gradually and beat until thick and creamy.
- 3 add vanilla.
- 4 sift all other ingredients together.
- 5 add sifted ingredients gradually to mixture.
- 6 bake in a moderate oven (180 degrees celcius) for 20-25 minutes.
