Homemade Eggnog

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, plus more for serving
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 ounces brandy (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until light in color and sugar is dissolved.
  • 2 whisk in vanilla, nutmeg, milk and brandy, if using.
  • 3 strain into a small pitcher and chill.
  • 4 pour into glasses and sprinkle with additional nutmeg.
