Granny's Pecan Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans, broken up
  • 1 pie shell, unbaked

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425°f.
  • 2 blend margarine, sugar, corn syrup and flour.
  • 3 add eggs, salt, and vanilla.
  • 4 pour into pie shell.
  • 5 cover with broken pecans.
  • 6 put in preheated 425 degree oven.
  • 7 after 3 or 4 minutes, turn oven to 300 degrees.
  • 8 cook for about 45 minutes or until middle of pie is set.
