Granny's Pecan Pie

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans, broken up
- 1 pie shell, unbaked
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425°f.
- 2 blend margarine, sugar, corn syrup and flour.
- 3 add eggs, salt, and vanilla.
- 4 pour into pie shell.
- 5 cover with broken pecans.
- 6 put in preheated 425 degree oven.
- 7 after 3 or 4 minutes, turn oven to 300 degrees.
- 8 cook for about 45 minutes or until middle of pie is set.
