Ingredients

- 1 lb shortening
- 5 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 egg (medium)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 cup water, cold
Recipe
- 1 beat egg in measuring cup.
- 2 add cold water to measure 1 cup.
- 3 add 1 tbsp vinegar.
- 4
- 5 put dry ingredients in processor.
- 6 add liquid, about 1/4 cup while processing til mixture forms a lump.
- 7 let rest for 30 minutes or more. make pie crusts as usual.
- 8 i usually roll out on plastic wrap.
