Liquid Cement

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 cups jam or 8 cups jelly, un-set
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup liquid pectin (such as certo)

Recipe

  • 1 place the un-jelled mixture in a saucepan.
  • 2 add 1/2 cup sugar.
  • 3 bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • 4 then add 1/2 cup of lemon juice and 1/2 cup liquid pectin.
  • 5 return the mixture to a boil.
  • 6 boil for 4 minutes only.
  • 7 pour into freshly washed & sterilized hot jars.
  • 8 seal with lid or wax.
